Yoga classes offered

The Webster City Recreation and Public Grounds Department is offering Yoga Classes in the Sampson Room at the Fuller Hall Recreation Center. There will be three Wednesday afternoon classes at 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. The 2:30 p.m. class will be intended for seniors and other persons with limited physical ability. The 4 p.m. and 5:15 classes will be for persons of all ages. The eight week session will begin on Feb. 6 and end March 27. Classes will be $35 for the eight classes and all interested persons will need to pre-register to reserve a place in this class.

This Yoga class is designed to completely stretch to maximize physical and mental energy, increase flexibility, improve body shape, and enhance relaxation. Mary-Louise Burt will be the instructor. Mary-Louise has over 30 years of experience and has studied Yoga in California, Texas, Minnesota, and Iowa. In addition to teaching class at Fuller Hall, Mary-Louise has been an Adjunct Professor at NIACC Community College and Ellsworth Community College, and has also taught in Clarion, Belmond, Hampton, Iowa Falls, and Alden. Mary-Louise is recognized by Yoga Alliance as being qualified to teach students and instructors. Please contact Fuller Hall at 832-9193 for more information.
