Goodwill asks for donations from local communities

Goodwill Industries has announced that an ambassador trailer will come to Webster City and Eagle Grove in April.

Goodwill is seeking donations of clothing, usable working small appliances, household goods, sporting goods and toys. Donations will then be processed and sold in Goodwill stores to support the programs and services the company provides for people with disabilities and disadvantaged conditions.

The Goodwill trailer will be in Eagle Grove at the southeast corner of town on South Jackson Street at the vacant lot starting on April 8 until April 15.

The trailer will then be in Webster City at the Asbury United Methodist Church at the west end of their parking lot from April 15 to April 22.

The trailer is unable to accommodate donations of furniture and large appliances.
