Lions take down Lynx boys, 9-0, on tennis court

CLEAR LAKE – The Clear Lake boys’ tennis team swept Webster City, 9-0, for the second time in as many weeks here on a blustery Monday afternoon.

The Lions claimed 10-0 wins in three of the singles matches and surrendered just three total games during that portion of the meet.

Chris Pergande and Dilan Griffin grabbed five games off of Jerry Kockler and Paul Raner in a doubles loss.

WCHS will be at home tonight against North Polk, followed by two more home meets against Iowa Falls-Alden and Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Thursday and Friday.
