Llama show this weekend

The llamas are back in town this weekend on the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Webster City. The annual Heartland Llama Show is expected to draw more than 150 head of llamas, including the mini-llamas, from a six-state area.

There are classes for fleece-on, showmanship and confirmation. Spectators will also enjoy watching the popular obstacle, companion, performance and trail pack competitions.

The show starts at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday and will be held in the newly completed Hamilton County Events Center.

Show officials invite local residents to come meet the llamas during their two day stay in the city and also view the fiber and fiber products exhibits. There is no admission charge to either the Fairgrounds or the llama show.
