Toy show planned

JEWELL – The Jewell Lions Club will host its 33rd annual Central Iowa Toy Show on March 30.

Exhibitors from Iowa and throughout the Midwest annually attend this large show. More than 700 spectators surveyed items from 55 collectors last year. People may buy, sell or just look at the large variety of farm toys and collectibles.

Agricultural displays, a model railroad, hand-crafted items, works by a local artist, NASCAR items, cast iron and die cast toys, Hot Wheels, Beanie Babies, trains and dolls will be on display.

Doors open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the South Hamilton High School gym. Admission is $5. Lunch will be served throughout the day. Proceeds from the event will fund Lions Club projects.
