Randy Greenfield, 62, of Williams, died on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Van Diest Medical Center in Webster City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday April 5th, 2014 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Williams with burial in the William’s Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Williams. Surls Funeral Home in Williams is in charge of arrangements.
Randy Lynn Greenfield was born on August 8th, 1951 in Williams to Kenneth and Evelyn (Lenning) Greenfield. He graduated from Northeast Hamilton High School in 1969 and then joined the United States Air Force the same year. On August 20, 1977, Randy was united in marriage to Donna Jean Spyksma in the Calvary Reform Church in Des Moines. He loved to tinker; you broke it, he fixed it. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and loved flowers. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Randy is survived by his wife Donna, his two sons Zac (Ashley Ackerson) Greenfield of Indianola and Derrick Greenfield and his fianc Kari Oberender and their son Addison of Williams, his three brothers Terry (Jerry) Greenfield of Story City, Lonnie (Rhonda) Greenfield of Des Moines and Kelley (Robin) Greenfield of Williams, his sister-in-law Elaine (Gordon) Mouw of Leota, MN, two brothers-in-law John (Jan) Spyksma of Rock Rapids and Bill (Kathy) Spyksma of Clive and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
