Hospital Auxiliary awards scholarships

The Van Diest Medical Center Auxiliary awarded its annual scholarships to area students at their recently held board meeting. Three $1,000 scholarships are granted to high school graduates who wish to pursue a career in health care or those going back to school to further their education in the health care field.

The 2014 Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship Winners are Kaylee Massman, a 2014 graduate from Northeast Hamilton Community School, who will be pursuing Physician Assistant studies at Wartburg College; Nick Olmstead, a 2013 graduate from Webster City High School, currently attending Iowa Central Community College, studying Nursing; and Hannah White, a 2014 Webster City High School graduate, who plans to attend Creighton University to study Nursing.
