‘Relatively Speaking’ next up for Readers Theater

Webster City Community Theatre Readers Theater will be reading peruse “Relatively Speaking” Sunday, at 4:30 p.m. at the theater, 1001 Willson Ave.

“Relatively Speaking” is a play comprised of three one-acts that explores life, love and family. “In ‘Talking Cure” Ethan Coen uncovers the sort of insanity that can only come from family. Elaine May explores the hilarity of passing in “George is Dead.” In ‘Honeymoon Motel’, Woody Allen invites you to the sort of wedding day you won’tforget.” This play looks at life and family from some unusual and unexpected perspectives.

Mike Kroona will direct the reading.

Those attending may bring a snack to share and a beverage for themselves.

Theater officials said people who are interested in plays, but don’t have the time to commit to rehearsals for a production, or don’t like to memorize lines, or just like reading plays, might find readers theater appealing.
