‘Savers Card’ offers special package to area golfers
A special offer continues for area golf enthusiasts this summer, as The Messenger is offering its “Golf Savers Card” to access many of the region’s finest courses at a discounted rate.
The card may be purchased for $99, which is well below the face value of $219. Customers may use it to cover green fees on 10 golf courses in the North Central Iowa region.
“This is a great way for non-club members to try out different courses,” said Messenger advertising director Dave Jakeman. “You can get to 10 area golf courses and find one you especially like.”
The card may be purchased by going online at www.messengernews.net or www.freemanjournal.net. You may also stop by The Messenger’s main office, at 713 Central Ave. in Fort Dodge, or The Daily Freeman Journal at 720 Second St. in Webster City, to purchase the card.
The offer is valid through Oct. 31.
Courses available in Fort Dodge are Lakeside and Willow Ridge. From the area, the Webster City Links and Briggs Woods golf courses are included.
The other eight courses are Twin Lakes Golf Club (Rockwell City), Deer Creek (Humboldt), Eagle Grove Golf Club, Manson Golf Club, Oak Park Golf Course (Dayton) and Cedar Pointe Golf Course (Boone).
